About the Program
Rooted in Community. Growing Leaders.
The Edgehill Youth Leadership Program brings young people from the Edgehill neighborhood together to work, learn, and lead through urban agriculture and community service.
Participants get their hands in the soil at community garden plots, learning to grow fresh vegetables while developing real-world skills in teamwork, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
The produce grown by program participants is shared directly with Edgehill residents — making every hour of work a direct investment in the health and food security of the neighborhood.
What We Focus On
Four Pillars of the Program
Urban Agriculture
Youth learn to plant, tend, and harvest fresh produce in community garden beds — building real skills in sustainable food production.
Community Leadership
Participants develop teamwork, responsibility, and civic pride by serving their Edgehill neighborhood through hands-on service projects.
Environmental Stewardship
Young leaders learn to care for green spaces, compost, and grow food — connecting them to the land and their community.
Food Security
Fresh produce grown by program participants is shared with Edgehill residents, directly addressing food access in the neighborhood.
